Emergency works for British Waterways
With the new boating season looming British Waterways discovered a problem with one of their Canal Lift Bidges.
The bearings on the Bridge at Talybont on Usk had failed and whilst the bridge was operational it required major attention.
TEMA Engineering had already been contracted to supply a new greasing system, however were approached to carry out bearing replacement works.
The timescale was short but achieved with the prospect of further works being likely.
