TEMA Engineering completed the supply and installation of the Flood Gate in August 2004.
The project will allow the present, Air Rescue Helicopter Pad to be protected from flood at extreme high tide.
The structure was designed by KGA Ltd. of Bournemouth.
TEMA Engineering carried out the complete supply, manufacture, painting and installation.
All instrumentation, electrics, hydraulics and control software was included in TEMA Engineering Ltd Main Contract Scope.
The gates are due to be finally commissioned and handed over in April 2005.
